Бундай баланд грунтли тўғонлар сейсмик активлиги юқори ҳудудларда барпо қилинмоқда. Уларнинг лойиҳалаш ва қуришда тўғонларни кучланиш-деформация ҳолатини аниқлаш, муҳим масалалардан бири ҳисобланади.
