Matematik tuzilmadan foydalanadigan barcha tabiiy va ijtimoiy fanlar, aslida, matematik modellashtirish bilan shug‘ullanadi. Matematik modellashtirish - ob’ektni bilvosita amaliy yoki nazariy o‘rganish bo‘lib, unda bizni qiziqtiradigan ob’ekt to‘g‘ridan-to‘g‘ri o‘rganilmaydi, balki mavjud ob’ekt bilan qandaydir ob’ektiv mos keladigan qandaydir yordamchi sun’iy yoki tabiiy tizim (model) o‘rganiladi
